Safety and Health

"Safety First"

Hire Logic® LLC emphasizes "safety first". Safety in the workplace protects employees and their co-workers. All employees are expected to practice proper safety precautions in the workplace. As part of its safety program, Hire Logic® LLC has an established Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). An administrator of the IIPP is responsible for implementing this program. Please feel free to contact us for more information on this program.

Compliance Is Essential

It is essential that all employees fully comply with the safety standards and practices of Hire Logic® LLC. Safety regulations promote a safe and healthy working environment. Safety compliance is part of the performance appraisal process and weighs equally in an employee's overall evaluation. Employees particularly effective in following safe, healthy work practices may receive recognition for their practice. Employees who violate safety standards, cause hazardous situations, or permit unsafe conditions are subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination.

Hire Logic® LLC has training and retraining programs for employees so that they can avoid dangerous or unhealthy conditions and/or fix problems or hazards before accidents or injuries result. If unable to remedy an unsafe situation, an employee should immediately report to his or her supervisor. If the supervisor is unavailable, the employee should immediately inform Hire Logic® LLC. Employees are strongly encouraged to report any unsafe condition and need not fear any resulting reprisal. Employees can file an anonymous report if they prefer.

Safety Equipment & Procedures
Effective 1/01/07

All shop employees are required to wear safety shoes. Shoes may be purchased at any store as long as they meet safety standards  and job requirements. Hire Logic® reimburses $40.00 of this expense. In addition, our client(s) provides safety equipment such as gloves, hard hats, safety glasses and any supplemental gear. Your account manager will specify if safety shoes are required for your assignment. Sales receipts must be given to Hire Logic® for reimbursement.

If an accident results in injury, employees should immediately notify their supervisor and a Hire Logic® representative. Accident reports comply with laws, facilitate insurance claims and initiate workman's compensation procedures if necessary.

Employees must immediately report any unsafe condition to the appropriate supervisor. Direct violation of safety practices includes: refusal to wear protective equipment, causing dangerous situations or failing to report and/or remedy such situations. Violations are subject to disciplinary action and may result in employment termination.
