Aerodynamic Loads Engineer
General Responsibilities: Responsible for calculating wind and aerodynamic loading using analytical methods, testing, and CFD to support mixer ejector wind turbine design and certification. Conduct analytical, computational, and test experiments to advance the state of the art in wind turbine design. Must be familiar with working with unsteady turbulent flows and be familiar with IEC 61400 loading criteria. Work in a multi-disciplined team environment with in-house engineering staff, manufacturing staff, consultants, and vendors. This position is responsible for providing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and timely development of a wind turbine. |
